One of the few Democrat politicos who is not (yet) seeking to be POTUS 46 is a guy named Sheldon Whitehouse. He is a Democrat Senator from Rhode Island.
Sheldon is famous for fighting “Dark Money” in politics. Dark money is campaign money which is very difficult to trace back to its actual origin.
A good example of a dark money conduit is Democracy Alliance, a secretive group which helps coordinate funding between left-wing donors and Democratic Congress members. Gara LaMarche is the head honcho at Democracy Alliance.
