What should be done when a person who once occupied the highest office in America’s intelligence community and now works for the anti-Trump media goes on social media and says this about the President of the United States?

“Mr. Trump‘s dishonesty, his lack of integrity, his nastiness,mean-spiritedness, the terms that he uses, this is not what I think of an American president. . . . Mr. Trump is letting this country down.” –John Brennan

The object of Brennan’s slander took action in response:

“Mr. Brennan’s lying and recent conduct characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary is wholly inconsistent with access to the nation’s most closely held secrets and facilities. . . he has recently leveraged his status by making wild outbursts on the internet and television. I have a unique constitutional responsibility to protect the nation’s classified information. . . I’ve decided to revoke the security clearance of John Brennan.”
