WHO DECIDES WHAT NEWS IS DISTRIBUTED?

In America’s free press the news headlines are no longer the product of old school journalism. Today’s news outlets are dedicated political tools.
An example from today’s events:
President Trump’s attorney allegedly paid $130,00 to a porn star (female). The anti-Trump press is covering this story from the angle that it is a major, earth-shattering event and they hope to convince us that the check was an illegal campaign contribution for which Trump should be impeached! OK.
Meanwhile, it has been discovered as fact that the Hillary campaign (Democrat) illegally used campaign financing methods to launder $84M!! That is over 6000 times more money!
Of the two stories only the one involving a Republican is getting major coverage by the “free press”. The story about a factual offense of the very same nature involving 6000-times more money is being kept out of the news.
