An elite multi-millionaire who founded a social media website that failed to protect the personal data on tens-of-millions of users whose information–which is of immense monetary value to marketing firms– and is now up for sale to the highest bidder by whoever stole it, is now appearing before Congress to answer some questions.

This successful  young entrepreneur also uses his website to influence public opinion by promoting certain social and political causes while inhibiting –if not outright banning– those he personally opposes.

These two issues have prompted Congress to investigate the matter regarding violations of both people’s right-to-privacy, and the First Amendment of the Constitution.

When asked by one Senator, “Would you be comfortable sharing with us the name of the hotel you stayed in last night?” The young man said, “No”.

When asked, “If you’ve messaged anybody this week would you share with us the names of the people you’ve messaged?” The young man said, “No”.

Clearly the man believes American citizens have a right to privacy. He said, “I think everyone should have control over how their information is used.” 

What is not clear is if he believes every American citizen has a right to free speech. He seems to have no problem censoring material with which he disagrees.

Today’s continuing investigation may reveal just how an Elitist Liberal billionaire who has created a massively efficient way to influence public opinion views the Constitution.
