President Trump’s tax reform bill cleared its final formidable obstacle when the Senate voted 52-48 yesterday to send it on to the House for final Congressional approval. From there it will go on to the President’s desk!
Democrats have used the same desperate tactic to defeat this bill that won them the Alabama senate election last week. . . dishonesty born of desperation.
The New York Times recently published a lying front page story saying the bill would “overheat the economy”. [Too much prosperity?]
The NYT lied in saying, “cynicism and mendacity underly the Republican tax bill.”.
Again the Times lied by saying that Republicans are supporting the legislation only because it is “good for them personally”, and that the bill would “significantly burden the IRS”.
None of these assertions are based in-truth or reason. The Dems are being desperately dishonest in their effort to stop the President from making America great again.
Liberals should be desperate. The new administration is bringing to light the gross failures of the Obama presidency. The DNC is in trouble!
