TAX FORMULA NOT WORKING FOR MOONBEAM

To observe Liberal Doctrine in action just watch what’s going-on in The Golden State, where Gov. Moonbeam reigns.
Revenue is down because people are burning less gas. Got it?
The problem is that revenue cannot go down because every penny is needed to pay all the government workers. Got it?
Here’s where Liberal Logic comes-in. Rather than taxing people based upon how much gas they buy, let’s tax them based upon. . . . . HOW MANY MILES THEY DRIVE!!
State Senator Scott Wiener has probed deep into the data-gathering capabilities of modern technology and has found a way to keep track of how far each car in the entire state is driven!
This begs the question of what happens if people greatly reduce the amount of miles they drive? What will Moonbeam and Wiener tax then. . . how about a tax based upon how many breaths a person takes? Or how many times a person blinks? The possibilities are endless when Liberal Logic demands that revenue must always be sufficient to meet government costs which are non-flexible (sacred).
People with functioning brains believe government cost is flexible and must be reduced if revenue is reduced.
Anyway, let’s watch.
