A journalist asked Thomas Begay– one of the Navajo code talkers being honored by President Trump earlier this week– if he was offended by the President referring to Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas”. His reply was, “The Marines made us yell ‘Geronimo’ when we jumped out of planes and that didn’t offend me either.”

Mr. Begay’s response was quite different from Sen. Warren’s. She called the President’s words “. . . a racial slur”.

Here’s what the President said: “I just want to thank you [the Navajo veterans] because you are very, very special people. You were here long before any of us were here. Although, we have a representative in Congress who has been here a long time, longer than you, they call her ‘Pocahontas.“

Liberals like Sen. Warren are never quite what they say they are.
