In 2012 the company filed for bankruptcy.
The company was purchased by China.
With start-up and developmental costs covered by American taxpayers the Chinese have now made the company profitable. They do things like helping Porsche win at Le Mans, and power city buses in Europe.
Another stark example of how Liberal doctrine routinely puts political agenda ahead of common sense and ethics.
