President Trump’s list of his predecessor’s misdeeds needing to be fixed is quite long. Hopefully the following item is somewhere on that list.

WHO: First Lt. Clint Lorance, U.S. Army

WHAT: Currently serving 20-years for killing two hostile operatives in combat.

WHERE: A hotbed of enemy activity in Afghanistan.

WHEN: July 2012.

WHY: Ordered his men to engage 3 highly suspicious locals who refused to halt their deliberate and threatening approach to the patrol. The road was known to be a favorite enemy route.

HOW: The Afghan government demanded Lt. Lorance be charged with murder. Obama’s military leaders prosecuted and sentenced the 10-year veteran soldier.

NOTE: Obama refused requests to pardon Lt. Lorance (along with other wrongly charged U.S. military members) now serving time in Leavenworth prison. Instead he squandered pardons on drug offenders and such.
