Who? Public school teachers in a state ranked number 23 for K-12 education, that’s a C+ rating.
What? Get paid an average of $121, 261 annual salary… plus a $24,152 benefit package… plus $16,041 per-year contribution to retirement fund for a total of $158,454 average per teacher, that’s an A+ deal for them.
Where? The Central Islip Public Schools District, Long Island, New York.
When? Every school year. Year after year.
Why? Because nobody cares, and unions are greedy.
How? Tax dollars.
Note: Other N.Y. state districts pay their teachers even more!
