1. From 2003 to 2013 China’s share of exports from Africa grew from 1% to 15%, while the E.U.’s share fell from 36% to 23%.

2. China is now Africa’s number one trading partner.

3. China trades cheap, manufactured goods for primary products (oil, minerals, etc.). There is no transfer of technology or skills.

4. Chinese owners of copper mines in Zambia lost ownership when local laborers protested “slave-like” working conditions.

5. Many  Chinese investors appear to genuinely want to… integrate into communities and run responsible companies…to pay fair wages and keep their workers safe.

6.  Between 2002 and 2011: China increased its military spending by 170 percent; has become the world’s second largest military spender; became the world’s fifth largest nuclear power, developed serious military capabilities for launching offensive wars; became fifth among all competitors in the global armament market.

7.  China is now a capitalist Great Power on an economic, political, and military level.

8. China is establishing a military presence in the South China Sea by creating islands.

9. China has invested $200 million in building a modern port in Pakistan’s province of Baluchistan.

10. China is establishing a military presence in the West Philippine Sea.

The list of imperialist acts by China goes far beyond this one. Meanwhile, Barack Hussein Obama continues to insist the real problem is Global Warming.
