So far one-third of the Democrats in Congress have stated their intention to boycott Trump’s inauguration on Friday.

Donald says he wants the people, not celebrities, to attend! So his response to the interviewer was, “I hope they (the boycotters) give me their tickets.”

There seems to be no record of Republicans boycotting a Democrat’s inauguration. Perhaps it’s because they view an inauguration as a sacrosanct element of a Constitutional Republic.

Rep. Lewis (D-NJ) says this will be his first boycott. Apparently he forgot that he boycotted the most recent Republican inauguration in 2001 (G.W.Bush). This makes two-in-a-row.
