By freeing a disgraced Army soldier Barack has delivered a  2-point message from the DNC:

1- The Liberal Agenda for the Fundamental Transformation of America (LAFTA) supersedes law, order, and justice.

2- Those sworn to protect our nation’s security can  betray America’s trust with impunity.

There is a political angle in all this. Manning gave the stolen info. to Wikileaks who used it to expose  the DNC’s darling Hillary Clinton

There is a philosophical angle. Obama has exhibited  anti-American sentiment throughout his life.

There is a social angle. Obama is a proponent of non-traditional sex/gender values. (Manning, who has both X and Y chromosomes as all males do, has “identified as a female” since being incarcerated in an  all-male facility.)
