INDICATOR OF WORKINGS WITHIN THE 2 PARTY CARTEL

Even though he will only be in office for a few weeks, the Senate just voted on Obama’s nominee for Sec. of Education.
The final vote was 49-40 for approval. 11 Senators did not vote (2 Dems, 8 Republicans, and 1 Ind.)
The key issue polarizing the vote is Common Core which Obama’s man strongly supports, while Conservatives and Republicans characteristically oppose and plan to replace the lunatic system.
So, the Democrats won by 9 votes even though there is a 10 vote Republican majority.
7 Republicans voted for Obama’s man and another 8 did not vote at all. That is 15 votes, more than enough to defeat Common Core if cast as true Republicans.
So when Republican Senators Cruz, Flake, Kirk, McCain, Portman, Rubio, Sessions, and Toomey run for reelection (as Republicans) voters should consider this failure to express direct opposition to Common Core.
And when Republican Senators Alexander, Cassidy, Cochran, Collins, Cornyn, Hatch, and McConnell run for reelection (as Republicans) voters should consider this direct support of Common Core.
