Obama’s Sec. of State, John Kerry, says Fidel Castro’s role was “outsized”. This from the broker of the best deal Iran ever made.
Castro’s Communist government has , for over 5 decades, relied on arbitrary detentions to harass and intimidate people who exercised their fundamental rights in opposition to the dictatorship.
Despite Castro’s disregard for individual rights Obama recently took steps to normalize U.S. relations with Cuba.
Today Kerry reassured the people of Cuba that America will continue to improve relations with the Communist dictatorship now run by Fidel’s brother Raul.
Here’s hoping Kerry’s promise will be redirected by Trump to the people of Cuba, rather than to the continuing tyranny of the Marxist regime.
