Wednesday a secret vote will be taken regarding the Republican’s rules for the next Congress.

One item in that vote will be an amendment to loosen the ban on “earmarks”.

If the Republicans want to help Trump they will vote “NAY”.

Republican Congressmen  Culberson (TX), Rogers (AL), and Toomey (FL) are sponsors of the amendment.

Earmarks make it easier to spend foolishly on pork barrel projects which is contrary to establishing a balanced budget.

If the hard-fought battle to institute the ban is overturned it will make Trump’s job more difficult.

Trump could use some help from the party which was little if any help in winning the White House a week ago. Moderates and RINOs in the GOP can save their careers by supporting Trump. Conservative Americans are awake now. They are watching for signs of Congress playing well with their new President.

Speaker of the House Ryan (L) and Senate Majority Leader McConnell (C) can send Senate Minority Leader Reid (R) a strong, clear message about balancing the budget by voting against the amendment to loosen the ban on earmarks. Pay attention to the news tomorrow!

UPDATE! Wednesday Nov. 16, 2016— Speaker Ryan nixed the attempt to ease the ban on earmarks. Great news for the future of the GOP as a cooperative member of the Swamp Draining Team.
