American’s are ok with showing a picture ID to buy booze, a gun, or any number of controlled items.

We also favor proving who someone is before renting them an overnight accommodation, selling them an airline ticket, or paying them government benefits. These are all forms of discrimination, and we are OK with them because, without them, the system would be open to abuse.

But when it is suggested that voters should be required to show that same picture ID, tempers flare and cries of “discrimination!” ring-out.

It turns-out that only the Liberal/Progressive/Socialist folks are opposed to strict voter ID requirements.

Who has something to lose if strict voter ID is enforced? Well, in the 2012 Presidential election, Obama lost every state that required picture ID* [verified by https://www.truthorfiction.com/2012-voter-fraud/].

The government does not take care to keep voter registries up-to-date. Deceased people’s names remain on the registers where evil doers find them and then send ($) someone to the polls to vote as that dead person. The poll workers don’t know the difference because no picture ID is necessary. This is one of many ways indiscriminate voting can steal an election. There must be discrimination in the form of photo ID for an election to be an accurate expression of the will of the people.

Liberal/Progressive/Socialist folks want it to be easy for illegal aliens, convicted felons, or any other unqualified persons to vote. *They strongly oppose voter ID laws because such laws cost them votes.
