At her fundraiser Friday Hillary said a lot more than the now famous “basket of deplorables” shocker.

Why would anyone vote for someone who says things like the following direct quotes from the transcript of her Friday speech?

“I am all that stands between you and the apocalypse.” Inferences aside, what does this say about her self image and her world view?

“I’m not like Donald Trump who says ‘I alone can fix it.” Trump said this by way of describing his mission to defeat Hillary at the polls. He is, in fact, the only candidate on the ballot who can do that. She replaced his meaning with her own, faulty, interpretation of his words.

“You could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the Basket of Deplorables.” She has apologized publicly for this gross blunder.

“They [Trump supporters] are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.” She pronounces it to be an un-American act to support Trump!

“If you know anybody who’s even thinking about voting for Trump, stage an intervention! Friends don’t let friends vote for Trump.” She proclaims every voter who does not vote for her is needful of an intervention like some drug addict, or alcoholic?

“Never giving up or giving in to all of the criticism that any of us who stick our necks out often attract.”  She thinks the ever-present cloud of criticism and scandal that surrounds her is caused by her courage in sticking her neck out?
