When we look at anything which has a design, we rightly conclude that it had a designer. Somebody designed chairs for a purpose. Somebody designed a glove to fit over a hand. The universe, and particularly human beings, show an unbelievable amount of design. It is illogical to insist that something which is clearly the result of design is not. The universe is the result of God’s deliberate design.

Humans have a complex personality. It is absurd to insist that such complexity resulted from Nothing. Rather, the human personality must be the results of a design by a Being with the same attribute. That being is God.

If something happens you can be sure it had a cause. What is the cause of the Universe? God.

If humans are aware of the concept of something, then that something exists. For example, most humans are aware of the concept of ‘true love’. The existence of the concept of true love points to the existence of true love.

Human morals point to the existence of a moral Maker, God. A sense of morality cannot come from nothing.

These 5 arguments cannot prove that God exists. However, they provide enough of a starting point to accept that God probably exists.
