Next Friday SCOTUS will decide whether to hear an action which is based upon the single concept that Congress is responsible for the validity of election results.
“…in cases of acknowledged signs of election interference, the Constitution requires an appropriate investigation prior to Congressional certification of the vote that determines who will be the next president. But this was not done.”
This lawsuit, against 388 members of the 117th Congress (which ends today), if judged for the plaintiffs, would find the 188 guilty of dereliction of duty, and would… overturn the 2020 general election!
388 is the number of Representatives who voted against a 10-day audit of the election results prior to certification. Such an audit is allowed in defense of the Constitution (a fundamental part of the oath of office for Congresspersons).
This could be a sign of life in our dying Republic.
