WHY WOULD ANY AMERICAN OPPOSE THIS…?

It is called The PAVES Act. (Protecting America’s Voting and Elections System).
Here’s what the PAVES Act will accomplish if enacted:
— Mandatory Voter ID for all federal elections. All signatures on absentee ballots verified and witnessed by observers from both political partyies.
— Mail-in ballots only for voters aged 70+, infirm voters, or military serving abroad.
— Semi annual “scrubbing” of voter rolls to remove deceased or ineligible persons.
— All ballot-counting software must be USA designed, owned, distributed, and serviced.
— No foreign-owned business can have custody of ballot data.
— All vote counts must be PHYSICALLY observed by representatives of both political parties prior to being declared valid.
The PAVES Act is facing vigorous opposition from the Democrats. They claim such action is an an attack on Democracy.
Obviously this law would make it difficult to manipulate ballots… but why would anyone want to do that?
Hmmm.
