If something good happens in history– something most people would want to happen again– it will not be repeated if history is ignored. Missing-out on a good thing is the consequence of ignoring history.

If something bad happens in history– something most people would not want to happen again– it will be repeated if history is ignored. Going through a bad time just like the one others before have is the consequence of ignoring history.

Ignoring history is a bad idea. A society that ignores history misses good things, and repeats bad things.

For example, history would gladly show us the 60’s plan Marxist German Rudi Dutschke copied from the 30’s Italian Communist Antonio Gramsci. The essence of the plan was to “capture the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches, and media by transforming the consciousness of a society.”

Before you finished reading that quote you probably thought it sounded like today’s news.

What the leftist Democrats wanted in the 30’s but couldn’t get, they tried for again in the 60’s but failed. If we knew history we would have been careful not to vote for Leftists. But we didn’t give any thought to the matter and the Democrats are now enjoying great success in each of Gramsci’s priorities.
