Obama has vetoed the military budget. Again the Liberal agenda to “fundamentally transform the nation” has been given priority.

For 53 consecutive years, Congress has met its duty to provide for the common defense by passing the National Defense Authorization Act. In the more than five decades since Congress has passed an NDAA, it has only been vetoed four times. In each case, the objection was based upon a single, specific provision regarding policy.The two branches were able to find a compromise all four times.

But Obama’s veto is not about policy. Obama’s motivation is to promote the Liberal agenda. In vowing he “will not fix defense without fixing non-defense spending,” the president is holding our military hostage until we increase spending on broken Washington bureaucracies. At a time when America faces serious aggressive challenges around the world, Barack Hussein is using our troops as bargaining chips in a fight to increase spending for federal agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency and the Internal Revenue Service.

Who benefits from a weakened American military? China, Russia, Iran, ISIS, N.Korea, etc.
