Example from actual test of student’s power of reasoning: “Marty ate 4/6 of his pizza. Luis ate 5/6 of his pizza. Marty ate more pizza than Luis. How is that possible?”
One critically-thinking student analyzed the given facts, made no assumptions and correctly answered, “Marty’s pizza is bigger than Luis’ pizza.”
The teacher failed to see that the kid’s answer was correct because the Answer Sheet indicates the correct answer is “That is not reasonable.”
