The racial make-up of America is: White 62.6%; Black 12.6%; Hispanic 9.8%; Mixed 9.1%; Asian 4.7%; Indian/Eskimo .95%; Hawiian/Pacific Islander .1%.

The current effort in America to replace “Systemic Racism” with “Racial Equality” should be based upon the numbers above.

Any organization should have the given percentages of each race represented in their membership. If not, that organization is guilty of Systemic Racism.

Let’s look at one example of a typical American organization. . .

The NBA player list is 72.4% Black. Using racial equality logic the NBA is systemically racist and should be restructured to achieve racial equality. 59.4% of the current Black players would be replaced with members of the other racial groups. The level of play would suffer greatly.

The same is true of many organizations in America.

Here’s the point. . . maybe race is NOT the important thing in achieving excellence. Maybe skin color is incidental. Maybe the secret of doing something really well has NOTHING to do with skin color!

America is being divided by folks who chant “Equality Now!”. Do they mean to say 62.6% of the players in the NBA should be White? That is stupid.

What should be equal is opportunity. What these rabble-rousers want to be equal is not opportunity, but outcome!

A basketball program run-on “Equal Outcome” guidelines would not thrive as a professional sport.

A nation run on “Equal Outcome”, rather than “Equal Opportunity”, would not thrive as a nation.

The cries of “Systemic Racism” echoing across America today are a tool being used to weaken and divide.
