The following item from today’s news shows America to be in a political place no one ever thought she would be.
A sitting U.S. Congressperson has openly stated that she believes the U.S. should stop funding the Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
For the record, the CBP’s job is to keep unqualified persons and their belongings from entering the U.S.
The ICE department is charged with capturing anyone who slips-through the CBP system.
The DHS deals with the results of actions by those who evaded both CBP and ICE.
Michigan Democrat Representative Rashida Tlaib is working to remove every security measure from between the U.S. and all those who seek to destroy her. Her objective is a borderless America where sworn enemies can enter and leave at-will.
Democrat voters of Michigan put this woman into office. She raised her right hand and swore the following oath:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”
