THIS AIN’T BASEBALL…

Posted in Uncategorized by Baba - Mar 08, 2021

In America’s sport (baseball) “HR” is a good thing. As a batter the best thing you can do is hit the pitch in such a way that no one can get the ball and put you out, it’s called a “homerun”.

In politics “HR” refers to an effort to make a new law by using a House Resolution (HR), and it is definitely not always a good thing.

The Democrats in the House of Representatives– all but one of them– just voted for HR1 which is deceptively titled the “For the People Act of 2021”. All 211 Republican Reps, and one Democrat, voted against H.R. 1.

If H.R. 1 passes in the Senate Usurper POTUS 46 will sign it into law.

Thanks to Joy Pullmann at Conservative Review, here are some (15) of the items in the Act that are, in fact, Against the People

— It clearly violates the Elections Clause of Article One of the Constitution, and the Elector’s Clause of Article Two

— It establishes a “Commission” which has the authority to summon judges to explain and justify their legal decisions,

— It ignores each state’s Constitutional right to run their election by mandating “an extra ten days ” to gather late ballots.

— It forbids states from demanding voter identification.

— It allows non-citizens to vote, even known criminals.

— It allows people to register to vote on election day allowing no time for verification.

— It forces states to document and justify each name removed from voter rolls. This cripples any effort to maintain the rolls by removing names of dead people, pets, etc.

— It forces speakers and non-profits to publish a list of their donors. This information would be useful in creating disruption at events where targeted speakers are to appear. It infringes on people’s First Amendment right to Free Speech.

— It creates and empowers unelected “Commissions” to define the boundaries of voting precincts, a practice long known to be abused for political gain.

— It facilitates unauthorized access (hacking) and multiple voting by individuals.

–It allows convicted felons to vote before their sentence is fully served.

— It allows 16 and 17 year-olds to register to vote.

— It forbids keeping records for possible recount or an audit.

— It requires every state to set-up “Drop Boxes” 45 days prior to every election for people to deposit ballots.

— It creates yet another “Commission” to establish voting rights for certain current U.S. Territories.

The common thread woven throughout this list, and many more examples from the Act, is that each issue gives Democrats a blank check to pack the ballot box with otherwise illegal votes, all in the name of “Anti-Corruption measures for the People!”.

Contact your Senators and demand that they withhold support of H.R. 1.
