RECKON IT’S TIME FOR A CHANGE?

America’s founders anticipated the possibility for the people’s influence in government to be diluted, or flat-out eliminated. To provide a safeguard against the federal government stealing power from the states (the people) they added a way for state-level legislatures to remove Washington D.C. from the process of lawmaking!
Article V of the Constitution specifies TWO ways the Constitution can be amended. One way to amend the Constitution is by consent of two-thirds of both houses of the U.S. Congress. The other way to amend the Constitution is for two-thirds of the states to call a Convention of States to propose an amendment. That proposal becomes Law when ratified by three-fourths of the State legislatures. Members of the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives have no role in the latter process!
If the “Deep State”, aka “Swamp”, aka “Shadow Government” has gone rogue and become detached from The People it is time to consider a Convention of States to amend the Constitution as a way to restore the original influence of We the People of the United States.
Maybe We The People need to take this action our founding fathers afforded to us … in order to form a more perfect union!
