There is a post-apocalyptic look about D.C. these days. 12-foot tall, razor wire topped fences everywhere. Locked and loaded Armed forces members lingering everywhere. Hmm.

It reminds me of my days in the aerospace industry back in Silicon Valley in the 70’s when massive “downsizing” was happening. Suddenly stacks of cardboard boxes would appear in the stairwells. These boxes were just the right size to hold the framed picture of your family, your coffee cup, and the coupon we were given for a free resume update at the local Kinko’s.

For what sort of activity is the new usurper administration preparing? Being Democrats we can rule-out downsizing. Maybe they are going to announce something that has a high probability of eliciting an uncommonly boisterous large-scale response?
