Some rhetorical questions about the 117th Congress:
Why can’t I find the list of current United States Senators?
An internet search reveals conflicting numbers for the total number of senators and the number from each political party.
Can it be true that the list of the 117th Congress Senators is currently undetermined?
It looks like no one can say who the Senators from Georgia are. Did Warnock lose? Did Loeffler win? Did Ossof win or lose? What happened to Perdue? What is the final (latest) vote count? How can Harris be both Vice-President and Senator, doesn’t that create a vacancy? Can the nation operate lawfully without 100 senators?
Article 1, Section 3 of the Constitution is the rule. Searching there seems to make it clear that the Senate must contain two persons from each state, (2 X 50 =100.)
Just asking.
