WHY AREN’T MASKS MANDATORY?

Q: If cheap paper masks stop COVID19 spread why is it not illegal for anyone to leave their home unless they are wearing one?
A: The government has not made masks mandatory because the only mask that would really help is both expensive and unavailable in the necessary quantities.
