True story. A first grader with Down Syndrome points her index finger at the teacher, raises his thumb and announces, “I shoot you!”

School officials responded to the “dangerous” situation when the teacher initiated a threat alarm. The “Threat Assessment Panel” quickly called the police who responded immediately.

Law enforcement people determined that the child probably did not know what she was saying, and, that she could not fire a bullet from her finger.

The little girl now has a permanent record for threatening a staff member.

One of the points here is the lunacy of government regulation gone wild. This is the direct result of Liberal/Progressive doctrine. Common sense is being replaced by excessive government oversight.
